The Paused – Song For Elliot
So… back in September during my last deployment my Grandfather died. Due to the nature of my deployment I wasn’t able to get home for the funeral. So, after moping around for a few days and listening to a insane amount of DJ Shadow I sat down a made this over the course of about 6 hours. Because of a computer issue that I had, I lost the project file that I made this under so I’ve never really had the chance to finish it. So I guess this is as finished as it’s going to be. So here you go.
Tribute to my Grandfather. Song For Elliot. MP3. Free download. Enjoy.
Back From Deployment! Yay!
Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve updated but I was out on my lil submarine for quite (3 months) and now I’m back and ready to rock!
Ok, not so much rock as clean up the basement.
But back to the important news. I’ve been working on a lot of music. A LOT.
And I’ll be posting it here soon. As soon as I get my internet connection fixed (doing this at a cafe right now.)
Thanks for poppin by. I’ll be throwing stuff up here soon.
First Blog!
So, I’m actually pretty new to this whole bloging thing. It’s one of those things that got so big so quick that I just kind of disregarded how much influence that it can have upon people. I’ve been doing a myspace blog for years but I just think it’s about time to grow up a bit and get one that’s independent of them, after all spam and friend whoring is eventually going to eat that site alive.
So to start. I’m not really a credible source of anything. My opinions don’t really matter but I do spend a little bit of time running around the internet looking at things and writing about them. I’m deeply into electronic music and have been DJing for about 7 years now. Minimal techno and the such. I dj under the name the Googly and have recently been creating Ambient music under the name The Paused. I’m currently in the military and I’ve got a wife and 2 cats.
I’ll be using this site to post about the 20 billion things that I’m interested in including upcoming musical highlights that you should be going to about the Seattle area.
Well that’s about it. Time to get with the posting.
