Two New Tracks! And some other stuff

So it’s been a little while since I’ve posted.

My bad.

But I’ve got some new stuff up and after getting a new computer and having my life settle down a bit I’m ready to give this whole blogging thing another try.

So first up. Two new tracks.

One is a original called Zoar Park. Named after a hometown park where the kids used to get crazy at in Virginia. It’s all about glitched drums and crazyness. Check the link below for downloads and listenings.

The second is one I’m pretty happy about. My completely crazy remix of the possibly leaked Daft Punk song from the new Tron movie. I got bored and cobbled this together and ended up liking this quite a bit. So enjoy.

New track. This is a collaboration between myself and Joel Dimarzo. This is the first thing both of us have created with each other and it’s experimental as hell. All the sounds from this song are taken from a very circuit bent Casio PT-10 and as you’ll be able to tell from the song, very very very processed. Found this little guy today during my internet wandering. Turns out it’s the work of de la mancha (who makes some of the best freeware you can find on the web, and some stuff that cost money that’s worth picking up as well check his shit out at www.delamancha.co.uk) and some guy I’ve never heard of that runs bleeping edge which really needs to be updated more.

But reagardless. This plug in is mighty cool and definatly worth downloading and throwing it over some stuff to see what type of sounds come out the other end. Step seqencers, comb delays, yada yada… it’s much more fun to just see what it does for yourself.

The Paused – Basement Mix 01

I’ve been in a bit of a rut as of late. I just honestly have not heard a lot of music that has been doing anything for me in the recent months and as a reflection I really have not been DJing like I used to. So to celebrate the holidays and to drag myself out of my music block that I’ve been going through, I present a new mix. One that’s not aimed at the dancefloor but rather for relaxing as this snow comes down. It’s full of tracks that I love and that I tell myself I’ll play some day but I’ve never been able to.

Mixed over the course of an hour while drinking 4 Rainiers. Fucking delicious. 1000% Vinyl.
